New World Professional Ballroom Champions 2002

Christopher Hawkins and Hazel Newberry have done it: on Sunday, 24th November 2002, they have
become the new World Professional Ballroom Champions of 2002! The Championship took place in the
famous Empress Ballroom in Blackpool.

What a fine young couple they are: well matched, attractive, tasteful, technically very
accurate, with a marvellous characterization of the five dances, with swinging actions that must
be seen to be believed, gorgeous lines, very professional and witty too! A real joy to watch.

We have followed the fabulous career of Chris and Hazel ever since they started competing
